General information
BMS LANmodule is an extension module that can be inserted to the BMS Mini, BMS Mini S, BMS Main 3, BMS Main X, or BMS Main 3X controller. It allows a BMS controller to be configured over an Ethernet network.
Overall architecture of a battery system that is controlled by an upper-level system via Ethernet is shown below.

Connection procedure
The BMS LANmodule must be inserted into the corresponding header of the BMS controller. The device must be fixed to the BMS controller by 11mm M3 standoffs and M3 screws.

Configuration
Configuration of the BMS LANmodule must be done according to the BMS controller’s configuration manual, see Battery management systems. Typically, the connection settings located in the “Connectivity -> LAN” section of the settings.
