BMS Wi-Fi is an extension module that can be inserted into the BMS Mini 2, BMS Mini S, BMS Main 2.1, BMS Main 3, BMS Main X or BMS Main 3X controller. It allows a BMS controller to be configured over a Wi-Fi network and send battery data to a remote server.

Diagram of a battery system controlled by a top-level system over the Wi-Fi network is shown below:

The BMS Wi-Fi must be inserted to the corresponding header of the BMS controller. Device must be fixed to the BMS controller by **10mm M3 standoffs and M3 screws.**

Here is the example of header for additional devices on BMS Main 2.1:

= Configuration =

Configuration of the BMS Wi-Fi must be done according to the BMS controller’s configuration manual, see [[Battery management systems>>doc:Battery management systems.WebHome]].

Typically, the connection settings are in the “Connectivity -> Wi-Fi” section of the settings.
